The perfect society if you love board games and multiplayer games. Play for fun or get competitive and start your own league.
The FCSA has a collection of board games, Table top games, and unsolved mysteries for students to play. You are welcome to bring in games from home if you have a favourite you would like to share too.
The Video Gamers Society is dedicated to providing a safe space for members to relax and enjoy multiplayer games with like-minded people.
We welcome gamers of all levels and all games to join for a stress-free, fun experience and participate in FCSA competitions.
Feel free to share your gamer’s tags and engage in a variety of different video games! You don't have to wait for us to set anything up.
Whether you want to chat all things film and TV, or you have a passion for making movies and dissecting filming techniques, this channel is the place to find like-minded individuals.
Each month we post up our Movie Recommendations for you and pick some to watch during our weekly societies sessions. You can recommend your own too!
If you manage to watch the movie you can rate and review it in the comments section of each post. We rate using 1-5 Popcorns (1=Rubbish and 5 =Amazing).
It doesn’t matter if you're a complete beginner or pro player, you will be able to use this group to put together a band of merry adventurers and get stuck into a new campaign.
To run this club successfully, we need Dungeon Masters and players and likely have a mix of abilities so that new players can get started exploring D&D.
The FCSA can help set you up your own D&D group with online or on campus resources.
The FCSA Book Group is a space where all students can discuss all things book related! Whether you love Romance or Mysteries, Fiction or Non Fiction (or Fan Fiction), audiobooks or biographies, there is always something to get involved in.
The Book Group runs a Book Club too! Each year we read and meet to discuss around five books over a cuppa and some biscuits. The FCSA has around 10 copies of each book you can borrow for free if you want to participate.
If you just love reading and want to make your way through as many books as possible, check out our free book shelves on each Campus.
